Stephanie Yu and I began work on this album during the pandemic.  Trying to record ourselves remotely and playing over Zoom was a huge challenge.  When we finally were able to record this album safely in the summer of 2021, we were thrilled to be making music with each other.  This is a truly joyous celebration of two friends.  You can almost hear how grateful we were to be playing these glorious pieces for flute and piano, together again!
